The textbook definition of TO CARE is “to feel concern or interest.”

An effective leader is one that continually demonstrates caring.
Building relationships at work:
- Approach with humility.
- Get to know the other person; ask about his/her family, interests, etc.
- Understand the person’s experience level.
- Explore the other person’s attitude toward safety, including their level of risk tolerance.
- Align on safety expectations, making it clear that you and others will be advocates for their success.
